We get to view lot of wildlife on the Coast, but earlier this summer I didn’t see much. Deer ate my spinach plants and squirrels skittered past my door, but that was about it. My friends and I speculated that the cheer for essential workers that broke out in the neighbourhood each night at 7 pm scared many critters away.
These deer strolled near my home this summer.
British Columbia is gradually getting back to normal, and the wildlife is too. Here’s a link to a little video of the bobcat and bear that walked across my property this week. Thanks go to photographer Taylor Burk for contributing the clips.
