Has anyone thought of taking B.C. Ferries to court over the fare increase for seniors?

The Coastal Ferry Act of 2003, which allowed the ferries to become a corporation, set price caps on fare increases. The limits were 2.8 per cent a year for major routes and 4.4 per cent a year for minor routes.

The increase to half fare from zero for seniors is an infinite percentage. Talk about gouging!
